Posting a Job or Internship
Companies intended to post a job or internship on the PIP platform should first create a company account with us, where they will be asked to provide information about the services, products or accomplishments of the company.
Upon the creation of a company account, employers may start posting a new job by inputting the details of the job, which may include specific examples of the type of work involved for the internship or job, the competencies or skill sets required for each position, etc. All postings would be reviewed and approved by staff within two working days.

Biomedical engineering is a growing industry with a strong career outlook, even at times of global economic recession. The demand for skilled BM engineers, working alongside with physicians and therapists, is projected to rise as the healthcare field continues its rapid growth and the roles of technology in diagnostic, therapeutic and research activities continue to expand.

Students learn about software engineering, computer networking, internet, databases, computer security, information systems, multimedia technologies, programming languages (such as JAVA and C++), artificial intelligence, computer-aided design, and digital hardware technologies. The Computer Science programme focuses on the software aspects of information technologies, with emphasis on designs and applications of information systems, internet, multimedia, databases, graphics and intelligent systems. The Computer Engineering programme focuses on the hardware aspects and system integration, with emphasis on microprocessor systems, computer interfacing, VLSI design and CAD.

The programme covers circuit theory, signal analysis and processing, computer architecture, integrated circuits, communications, opto-electronics, and semiconductors. There are areas of specialization in biomedical engineering, audio, video and image processing, wireless communication, optical fibres, nano-technology, and IC design. The curriculum emphasizes integrated hardware and software design.

This is an inter-disciplinary programme which combines electronics, mechanical and computer engineering. It includes subjects like robotics, sensors and actuators, control, micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), smart materials and structure, computer-aided design, fuzzy logic, and artificial neutral networks.
